What is overtime?
Overtime is the extra time when an employee works beyond their normal working hours. Overtime may be mentioned under various Acts applicable for the functioning of the organization.
Overtime Pay:
The extra amount that the employee gets after working for extra hours is considered as overtime pay. Some workers may also want payment based on hourly rate so overtime can also be calculated on hourly rate basis.
ACCU360 has also come with a feature of calculating the overtime hour.
For overtime calculation, if you want to give the OT payment and calculate the OT hour, the 1st step is to tick the OT payable in employee master form. You have to tick the option else it will not be calculated. Now in the shift type, give the OT start threshold. OT start threshold means the time from which the overtime will be started.
